1. Approval of Minutes of Board Meeting of November 26, 2008

2.     Treasurer’s Report – Tracy

3.    Letter to Members who have not renewed membership

4.     Newsletter Report - Dan

5.    New Communication Committee –Steve W. - will address the timeliness of issues and direct information or response to websites, e-mail, newsletter or a combination; assist with layout/information on website; timely respond to feedback from membership and the public.

6.     Community outreach, including options for BBLA hosting a meeting in May or September

7.     Discussion re Candidates’ Night, timing, process and issues

8.     Annual Meeting in June; speaker, location; 30 day notice. Candidates for Board of Directors.

9.     Issues:  boardwalk expansion; more sand on beach; reserves and priorities for spending and consider proposing to Council to reestablish Capital Improvements Committee; mandatory recycling; proposal to increase terms for Council and term limits; ambulance service status and costs; Collins Avenue progress; sidewalks; recycling; and, pedestrian and bike concerns.
